Casiopea Via 3 Company Price: 7 euros Spectacular contemporary flamenco choreographed by Javier Leyton. Music by Eduardo Rodriguez. Based on the Greek myth of Casiopea, mother of Andromeda, Eduardo Rodriguez has composedan original score mixing Greek, Jewish and Byzantine rhythms with Flamenco (alegrias,bulerias) suffused with oriental airs. Javier Leyton has united the flamenco elements in theproduction with the most advanced contemporary dance techniques. Eduardo Rodriguezcomposed and taught both classical and flamenco guitars as director of the Centro Andaluz de Flamenco and professor at the Conservatorio de Cordoba. Javier Leyton is considered to be one of the major dancers and choreographers of the country and participated in productions for the Liceo de Barcelona in London and diverse operas produced by the Sevilla Theatre.
